Denver Radio Club Using the eRideShare Website
In order to assist members in coordinating car pooling to consolidate commute costs to DRC meetings we have created a DRC group on the web site eRideShare. This is a private group, and is only accessible with the use of a group password. The password is only available to club members and provided through the monthly newsletter. In order to use the group you must register yourself on the eRideShare website. Once you register you can create a "Carpool Listing" this is where you indicate whether you are looking for a ride, willing to give a ride, take turns, etc. You also include your contact information and your starting location. By default the listing is only available to members of the DRC Ridesharing group. You have to actively check a box to make the information available to the general public, I suggest not checking this box. By default, the address of our regular club meeting location, the El Jebel Shrine, is automatically filled in. We will be able to create new locations for special events and meeting locations as required.
